How it works
- Find the closest NKR center using the official map
- Contact the center and tell them you want to be a living donor
- Ask about the process and the Donor Shield program
- The center will guide you through the medical evaluation and registration
Important
Not all US transplant centers offer Donor Shield. Only the 102 NKR member centers. If your local hospital is not on this list, consider traveling to one that is — Donor Shield reimburses up to $6,000 in travel expenses.
